Sean Hager

With extensive experience in high-risk industries, including mining, power, and steel, Sean has been Managing Director of Hargreaves Industrial Services business in the UK and South Africa for the past 7 years.  His leadership has ensured safe and compliant operations across more than 50 contract sites. During his tenure he has overseen strategic directional change from a contract portfolio which was 80% carbon-based operations to only 4% today whilst consistently maintaining steady growth and now delivering a revenue stream of circa £70m across power, water, infrastructure, and materials handling sectors. 

With a strong background in health, safety, and workplace ergonomics, Sean has been instrumental in ensuring compliant and safe working practices, that have facilitated the growth and implementing best practice across various sectors. His notable achievements include leading safety management transformation at Hargreaves, where under his leadership the Hargreaves team achieved numerous awards including, ROSPA Diamond Award and 5-Star NOSA Awards in South Africa.
