Ben Holehouse

Ben started work for the Fernwood Group in October 2024 as Group Management Trainee. He feels privileged to work in an environment operating a variety of sectors including shipping, transport, fuels, agriculture and property to name a few. He has thoroughly enjoyed being part of a “refreshingly traditional industry”, which holds the best parts of traditional business such as heavy industry, face-to-face contact, meetings and dinners whilst keeping a firm focus on the future and evolution.

Before starting work for Fernwood, Ben graduated from UCL with a Bachelor of Laws Degree. Alongside his studies he was a keen rower, training twice daily on the Severn and then later on the Thames. He has rowed at various international events including Henley Royal Regatta. He ultimately competed and won a Gold Medal for England.
