Mark Gibbens

Mark heads the Logistics Team at Drax and is responsible for ensuring the Group’s UK supply chain operations and Drax International freight portfolio run smoothly. Building upon over 25 years of power industry experience he leads the team to deliver reliable and often innovative solutions to the challenges faced. As Drax increases its self-supply volumes towards its target of 8 Mtpa of sustainable biomass, the Logistics function is ever more linked to global markets with fresh opportunities regularly emerging to optimise and decarbonise its supply chain activities. He lives near York with his wife and two daughters.
