Biography:
As MD of MPG since 2018 Chris has worked on projects ranging from the delivery of carbon neutral stoneyards, building stone quarries in protected landscapes and the delivery of biodiverse habitats upon multi-million tonne aggregate quarries. He has overseen the expansion of MPG to a multi-office, multidisciplinary, planning and environmental consultancy advising SMEs, International Operators and Planning Authorities alike.
Originally a geologist, Chris is now a Chartered Town Planner, Fellow of the Geological Society and Member of the Institute of Quarrying, providing Expert Witness evidence at Public Inquiry and in the Courts of Law on all things Environmental / Mineral planning.
He is also a seasoned speaker and tutor having led sessions on mineral planning as a guest lecturer for the Institute of Quarrying.
