Biography:
Emma acts for businesses and individuals on both contentious and non-contentious environmental and regulatory matters at Schofield Sweeney.
Her work includes advice on environmental, licensing and planning compliance in clients’ day to day business and for real estate and corporate transactions. She takes a collaborative and commercial approach alongside real estate and corporate colleagues and her clients’ external advisors. She also supports clients anticipate and stay ahead of ESG related risks and challenges.
She helps businesses through a range of contentious issues, including local authority enforcement, planning compliance, Environment Agency enforcement and appeals. She utilises her background working in house for a non-departmental public body and the court to work toward the best outcome for her clients.
In her spare time Emma is a mentor to law students with GROW Mentoring and the University of Leeds.
